This dynamic give rise to "hot spots" that reinforce themselves in an exponential pattern. This phenomenon appears in diverse fields such as the diffusion of new technologies, financial bubble and crash, viral processes, or social movements.

 

ExpansionS stages stylised butterfly wings. These WingS are progressively echoing each other through a coloured choreography.

 

At the beginning, the installation is immersed into half-light. Then colored luminous spots are displayed on some wings, gradually coming into resonance with each other and weaving a kind of expansionist network.
